Three Lake Placid Hotels Top ‘Best Hotels in Adirondacks’ List by U.S. News & World Report
Mirror Lake Inn recognized for record of high customer satisfaction and reputation
LAKE
PLACID, N.Y. (January 31, 2012) - Mirror
Lake Inn Resort and Spa was
recognized as one of the "Best Hotels in the Adirondacks"
by U.S. News & World Report. The Inn was joined by the Lake Placid
Lodge and The Whiteface Lodge in the top-3 of the Adirondacks list.
"Overlooking
Lake Placid's Main Street from a hill-top perch, the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and
Spa has been an Adirondack mainstay since 1883," states the review on the U.S.
News website. "The resort is filled with exposed wooden beams and cozy

The 2012 Best Hotels rankings recognize hotels with
a record of high customer satisfaction and an exceptional reputation among
published travel experts. All three Lake Placid hotels received good- to
excellent-reputation ratings and positive TripAdvisor ratings from guests to
make the list.

In addition, the
Adirondack region was named the seventh-best place to ski in America by U.S. News.

U.S. News established
Best Hotels to identify the top properties across the country using an unbiased
methodology. To create the 2012 rankings, U.S. News evaluated
the strength of accolades and ratings that elite hotels received from major
travel publications as well as online guest reviews. In total, 1548
luxury hotels have been analyzed for the 2012 Best Hotels in the USA rankings.
The highest performers among them have been identified as the Best Hotels in
their respective categories.
