The View Awarded High Honor by AAA

The Mirror Lake Inn’s restaurant receives four diamond status

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - The View, the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa's main restaurant, has been awarded the Four Diamond award from the American Automobile Association (AAA). "Only 3 percent of restaurants of the nearly 28,000 restaurants approved by AAA achieve this prestigious distinction." The View is the only Four Diamond restaurant in the Lake Placid area.

The inn's unwavering attention to detail is what continually attracts AAA and this detail continues into the restaurant. The View's menu was the creation of Paul Sorgule, the inn's executive chef and his professional culinary team, while the complimentary service program was the design of Katie Welch, the Inn's restaurant manager and her staff. It was their goal for the dining experience to be fun and creative for food enthusiasts.

Many of the entrees are prepared with slow cooking methods such as braising and roasting, allowing the flavors and aromas to fully express themselves.
