Mirror Lake Inn Voted One of the Top 50 Ski Hotels in North America by Conde Nast

Conde Nast Traveler Readers Select Inn for the Third Time

Lake Placid, N.Y., (November 24, 2010) - The Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa has been selected as one of the "Top 50 Ski Hotels" in North America by Conde Nast Traveler readers. The results of the annual "Best Places to Ski & Stay in North America" readers' poll appear in the December issue of Conde Nast Traveler, on newsstands now.

Ranked #12, the Mirror Lake Inn is the only hotel in New York State to make the list and it is the third time the inn has received this honor.

In its fifteenth year, the annual survey results are derived from the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards. The questionnaire was available to all readers through a secure website. For 2010, nearly 26,000 people participated, rating hotels either excellent, very good, good, fair or poor in categories including activities and facilities, food and dining, location, overall design, rooms and service.

The Mirror Lake Inn continues to acquire a reputation of excellence with accolades from leading hospitality organizations. In addition to this most recent award, in November the Inn was selected by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the Top 100 Large Resorts in the Mainland, U.S. in the annual Best in the World! Readers' Choice Awards.  In April 2010, the Inn was honored as one of Conde Nast Traveler's Top 240 Spas worldwide.  The Inn also appeared in the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List, a directory of the world's best hotels and resorts, in 2009, 2008.

In August, the Mirror Lake Inn was voted one of Travel & Leisure's Top 50 Resorts in the U.S./Canada, while in January the Inn was selected as one of the Travel & Leisure 500 World's Best.
