Mirror Lake Inn Voted One of "America's Best Ski Hotels" by Travel Leisure

One of 25 Hotels Chosen Throughout the U.S. and Canada

Lake Placid, N.Y., (Jan. 27, 2011) - The Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa has been selected to "America's Best Ski Hotels" by Travel + Leisure magazine.  This elite list consists of twenty-five ski hotels in the United States and Canada.   The winners are derived from Travel + Leisure's annual "World's Best Hotels" readers' survey and appear in the February, 2011 issue of Travel + Leisure.

The Mirror Lake Inn is one of three Lake Placid hotels selected. They are the only properties in New York State to make the list and among only eight in the East. The full list of winners can be viewed on Travel + Leisure's website at www.travelandleisure.com. 

The resorts were chosen based on their proximity to world-class skiing along with their amenities and overall atmosphere.   Each property offers exceptional dining, spa, and après-ski opportunities as well as superior service and friendly and knowledgeable staff. 

The Mirror Lake Inn continues to acquire a reputation of excellence with accolades from leading hospitality organizations. Earlier this month, the inn was selected as one of the "World's Best Hotels" in the Travel + Leisure 500.  In November the inn was chosen by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the "Top 50 Ski Hotels in North America" and as one of the "Top 100 Large Resorts in the Mainland, U.S." in the annual Best in the World Readers' Choice Awards.
