Lake Placid, N.Y. - The Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa, the Adirondack’s premier luxury lakefront resort, announces winter team building activities. Lake Placid is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Olympic Winter Games and the Mirror Lake Inn is inviting meeting participants to feel like Olympians themselves.

Some favorite exercises include: o Bobsled and luge - participants have the chance to speed down the new bobsled/luge run and experience the thrill of speed. o Curling - after extensive coaching in the sport of curling, teams compete by sweeping and throwing stones. o Biathlon - combines cross-country skiing with marksmanship. Participants take turns shooting .22 caliber rifles at the Olympic biathlon targets and racing on cross-country skis. o Slalom Racing - race slalom gates at Whiteface Mountain, where Phil Mahre won Olympic silver. o Ice Skating - shoot pucks and skate in the 1980 Olympic Arena, site of the historic “Miracle on Ice.” Skate laps around the Olympic Speed Skating Oval.
