The two-time Olympic village is pleased to announce its first Holiday Village Stroll Weekend, December 5-7 and the Mirror Lake Inn is offering a wonderful weekend package.
With its majestic setting and proven ability to host memorable winter events, Lake Placid is looking forward to turning the Holiday Village Stroll Weekend into an annual event for visitors and residents to enjoy for many years to come. "Winter comes early up here in the mountains and our warm, festive atmosphere makes it hard not to get into the holiday spirit; a weekend dedicated to encouraging visitors to do the same is a perfect fit for us," says Lake Placid Mayor Jamie Rogers, adding, "not to mention, we know a thing or two about spirit and celebrations."

Families will delight in the variety of children's activities and special events, and couples and singles will surely appreciate the fine specialty shopping and gourmet food, as well as the various evening entertainment options.
Free skating and skate rentals at the Olympic Oval carolers will add to the festive, holiday atmosphere all weekend long. Santa will arrive on Main Street on Saturday afternoon, complimentary hot chocolate, cookies and a chance to talk to Santa, Specialty shops will be offering extra incentives and treats such as free gift wrapping, hot apple cider, book signings, trunk shows, later store hours, etc. Restaurants will be featuring happy hours, wine tastings, gourmet food samplings and live music throughout the weekend. Complimentary holiday movies, holiday crafts and story times will be offered throughout the weekend at different times and locations
Holiday Village Stroll Packages, starting at $275 per night for a family of four, include a hearty Adirondack breakfast each morning, including one with Santa, as well as a $50 credit that can be used for shopping on Main Street.
