Lake Placid, New York (August 7, 2008) - - The Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa is pleased to announce the "Adirondack Tux Package," available this winter holiday season. What is an "Adirondack Tux?" It's actually a classic Norwegian sweater and about as formal as we like to get at The Mirror Lake Inn.  If you do not own one, we have a wonderful store in town that has a special offer for guests choosing this unique package. Ruthie's Run, one of Lake Placid's finest specialty retailers, will be offering guests of the Adirondack Tux package a complimentary Dale of Norway hat with the purchase of a Dale of Norway sweater (a $75.00 value).  These sweaters are incredibly warm and stylish, exhibit first class workmanship and last for years to come...not unlike the qualities and memories one could expect to experience when staying at the Mirror Lake Inn.

The Olympic village of Lake Placid is a classic winter town and the Mirror Lake Inn, adorned with 100,000 twinkling lights, is the quintessential place to celebrate the winter holidays. Prices per couple for the Adirondack Tux Package start at $525 per night, Sunday through Thursday, and $585 per night, Friday and Saturday
