Lantern Tours of Ausable Chasm

Discover the beauty of Ausable Chasm at night! Our "Lantern Tours" are our only nighttime tour. At dusk, each person is given a lantern while our knowledgeable guides lead your group into the Chasm. We will enter the Chasm at the rim and then descend into the dark canyon 150 feet below and walk along the legendary Ausable River and its rushing waters. Exploring the dark shadows of the chasm walls is an awe-inspiring sight! Tour includes a community campfire and marshmallow roast!

Friday's and Saturday's ONLY - May - 8:30PM; June - 8:45PM; July - 8:45-8:30PM; August - 8:30-8:00; September - 7:30PM

Adults Only please. Due to the late hours of the Lantern Tours we need to request that children under the age of 13 not accompany us on the tour. Exceptions are made for private/mid-week Lantern Tours.

Compete in this Super D race at Whiteface with its mixture of downhill and cross-country rugged terrain.

Whiteface 5th Annual 5 K Downhill Race

5th Annual 5K downhill mountain bike race, with approxiamately three miles of rugged, downhill terrain. The Whiteface Annual 5K Downhill is the 5th race on the Gravity Pro Tour and the 7th stop on the Gravitiy East series.

Exploring the Adirondacks Weekend

Join us for four days and nights as we tour private and public Adirondack Camps, led by experts in the field of architectural history & preservation, as well as local historians.This is a unique, behind-the-scenes look at this distinctive piece of America's architectural geography. Oktoberfest

Once a year, Whiteface dusts off its lederhosen, fires up the oompah band and enjoys a tall mug of German beer. Oktoberfest is a weekend-long celebration of Bavarian culture, with authentic music, dancing, food and beer. But it's not just about eating and drinking (not that there's anything wrong with that). You'll find complimentary rides for kids and adults, craft vendors and discounted trips on the Cloudsplitter Gondola to the summit of Little Whiteface. The views from up there will make it pretty clear why October in the Adirondacks is something worth celebrating.

Ladies' Day at the Mountain Bike Park

Ladies, come out and ride on the rugged mountain bike terrain at Whiteface Mountain. This is the 4th of a series of four Ladies' Days at Whiteface Mountain.

10th Annual Flaming leaves Festival

A family-fun, two day event featuring the U.S. Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined National Championships. Enjoy spectacular events, live music, games, craft vendors and more - all with the vibrant and picturesque folliage of the Adirondacks as your backdrop.

Closing Day Whiteface Mountain Bike Park

Enjoy the last day of the season and ride the rugged mountain bike terrain or tour the cross country Flume Trail at Whiteface Mountain.
