In July 2005 the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa welcomed Paul Sorgule as our executive chef of the award winning The View and of our new bistro & bar Täste. Chef Sorgule is a leader in culinary pursuits and the former dean of culinary arts and hospitality management at Paul Smith's College. |  |

A sampling of the Chef Sorgule's honors and awards include: a Gold Medallion from the International Culinary Olympics; a Gold Medallion for the Best Regional Team in the World, as a part of the New England Culinary Olympic Team; the Presidential Medallion from the American Culinary Federation; and the National Culinary Educator of the Year from the American Culinary Federation.
Chef Sorgule's passion for culinary arts has been conveyed to numerous students, including a number of recognized leaders in the field. He was instrumental in developing the culinary arts and hospitality management program at Paul Smiths College, where he taught and served as dean of that program.
