Mirror Lake Inn employee fights Oregon fires

Mirror Lake Inn

Such is the spirit of assistance in this country that when problems exist on one coast, help can come from the other coast.

That has been the case as California and the Pacific Northwest have been hit by extended droughts, and inevitably, out of control fires. Over the summer, the state of Oregon put out the call for help in fighting those fires and New York was one of the eastern states to respond.

In that New York group was a member of the maintenance crew at the Mirror Lake Inn.

Kaileigh knows all the right spots for hiking into the changing fall foliage, and recently wrote what amounts to a white paper on foliage in this part of the world. She was gracious enough to let us share her insights with our audience.
