Snow re-introduced to the Adirondacks

The Mirror Lake Inn has been honored by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler as the #1 resort in the Northeast

With temps in the 20s overnight, precipitation covered the ground around our resort and in Lake Placid. There's more in the higher elevations.

 

Next month, the Olympic Skating Oval, where Eric Heiden won 5 gold medals in 1980, will see many recreational skaters taking laps. We'll keep you posted later in the season on the oval's opening.

 

If the temperature and dew point drop further, that fountain might spit snow!

 

The Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa is still accommodating those who can't let go of summer.
