Joy comes to children in the Adirondacks: MLI hosts annual fundraiser for local arts center12/06/2012 For the 26th consecutive year, Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa hosts Joy to the Children. The social event of the year in Lake Placid begins at 6:00 tonight, with proceeds benefitting children's programs at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. Against a holiday background, the Inn transitions from hotel and restaurant into a beautiful venue for this fundraising gala, hosted by owners Ed and Lisa Weibrecht. Co-chairs of the event are Erin Perkins and Sharon Wood. What follows is the metamorphosis of our inn, beginning at 10 AM today. Please return periodically for photo updates to this blog.
