Fall colors coming to the Adirondacks

One of the great benefits of autumn in the Adirondacks is the ability to play unencumbered golf in a colorful setting.

And there is no better venue for this enjoyment than the Whiteface Club and Resort championship track, partly owned by the Mirror Lake Inn.

It was a cool Wednesday afternoon when these images were taken. The rest of the week will be warmer.

Experts are saying that autumn colors will be normal/excellent. Your blogger's intuition tells him that unless we get a windstorm next month, our colors may hang around longer than usual since they seem to be starting a bit later.
