Sous Chef
Responsible for hands-on supervision and training of day-time kitchen crew of prep cooks, breakfast cooks, and dishwashers. Responsible for weekly physical inventory, daily monitoring of labor cost, oversight of sanitation, implementation of day-time menus, oversight and execution of in-house banquets and execution of breakfast menu.
The position is full-time, year round-typically 5 days per week, although some high season weeks will require 6 days, 44-48 hours per week on average.
Additionally, the sous chef will work with the executive chef des cuisine in the design and implementation of breakfast menus, which change 3-4 times per year.
The right candidate will have formal training in the culinary arts, a proven track record of work in 4 diamond operations, a passion for food, and even temperament, and must carry himself or herself with the highest level of professionalism. A related degree is a plus but no required. Previous supervisory experience is critical.

This overnight position would involve front desk duties such as checking guests into and out of the hotel with an emphasis on providing a unique and memorable experience for our guests.
